Quality has always been a cornerstone at Miltop Exports. We use both our in-house and external laboratories to constantly test raw food materials for both safety and quality. The microbiological, physical and chemical properties of our products are all analysed. In addition we pay close attention to allergen control.
Because we deal in natural products, quality can differ. That's why we have qualified personnel who conduct comprehensive tests. To assure that the standards and food safety are maintained right across the supply chain, all our products can be located and traced according to our traceability protocol.
Critical sourcing of suppliers and products is also a major concern. We believe in ethical procurement, so in buying produce we take into account local conditions in order to protect the environment and the welfare of inhabitants.
As well as the quality of our products, the standard of our systems is crucially important. Through a regular program of internal audits, we review, evaluate and adjust our operations at all levels. As a result, we are able to deliver and improve the high-quality products and services that our customers require. This also helps us optimise our approach towards food safety. One of the outcomes of this approach is a gradual improvements in our quality standard from ISO 9001:2000 to HACCP and finally ISO 22000.
